The professional restoration service from PiciScan can restore treasured memories. Sometimes a photo will have become damaged: accidentally torn, faded through age or become wet. Whatever's happened to your photo we can rescue it for you.
Your photo will be scanned at 1200 dpi and returned to you in its current condition. We will work on the scanned image - now a digital photo - removing tears, fixing colour ... whatever the photo needs.
Once work has been completed, the restored photograph will be archived to a DVD-R. You can print the image, to whatever size you like. Why not enjoy your restored memory as a stretched canvas print? Or, simply keep the image on the DVD-R to enjoy your restored photograph for generations to come.
As each photo requiring restoration is unique, it is hard to give an exact estimate of the time involved to restore your photo. However, we will provide you with an upper estimate of how long it is likely to take. This is the most you will pay. If it takes us less time to restore your photo than we originally estimated, then we will charge you less. If it takes longer, you will pay no more than the original estimate.
Our photo restoration service is charged at an hourly rate of £13 per hour. Below are some examples of work we have carried out previously, along with a guide to how long each took to restore and the work involved. Any price will include the cost of scanning your original photo.
